An atrium and new studio space, offices and a laboratory are inserted into the void space above a vast double-height workshop facility.

Communal spaces are defined by inhabitable cubes and truncated cones. The viewing balcony and breakout spaces provide views of the exhibition space below. New synergies are founded as students from different disciplines colonise the space ad hoc.
