Hotel Transform Denmark

The refurbishment of the SAS Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen encompasses the entire raised ground floor plant and includes the creation of Denmark’s first licensed casino.

The main 150-seat restaurant for the four-star facility transforms from a breakfast restaurant to a conference hall and thence to themed Italian and steakhouse restaurants combined.

The rotating buffet servery swivels 180 degrees, offering the possibility of both chilled and heated victuals. The new 450-capacity casino has a separate entrance that aims to take aspects of Scandinavian sensibilities as the focus of this most traditional of entertainment.

This project became the Copenhagen Chamber of Commerce's case-study and model for fast-track interior design fit-out and is also featured in the Danish Interior Designer's Handbook.
